Have you ever sat back and considered “why” you do what you do and what makes you tick, what gets you out of bed each day? It is not something many of us do, however answering this question can be a great way to discover how to motivate yourself.
Why did I decide to become a personal trainer? Well after spending years working in sales, I wanted a career where I was doing something positive for other people. Personal training was something that would allow me to do this for others as well as myself. An injury had left me unable to be as active or enjoy many activities that I had once taken for granted. I wanted to learn how to recover my own fitness too. This has made me very aware that there is no one size fits all approach to fitness and health. We all have different goals, priorities and definitions of fitness. For me it is not about finding a quick fix or what targets you can hit in 12 weeks. It is about lifestyle and educating others so they can have a lifetime of better health.

So in regards to fitness and health, have you thought about what you would like to achieve for yourself and why this is important to you? If you are not sure where to start, why not send me a message?
